My name is Tarr'ice. I have often been told it was of French origin but nothing to substantiate. If you could help it would be greatly appreciated. I named my daughter Arnitra. I would like to be able to tell her what her name means. I know this name from an actress back in the 70's

I wonder if Tarr'ice is a variant of the French name Thérèse?

I have been told that my name sounds French but still unless I know for sure, I can't be satisfied.
