How do you say. . .
I am 1/4 Dutch and want to use some Dutch names in my kids, but I'm not sure about the pronounciation of them. Liesbeth or Lijsbeth and Kees in particular. Any ideas? Thanks in advance for all your help!

Liesbeth is pronounced Lees-bet, and usually becomes Liesje (Lees-sha)as a pet name. Kees in English would be pronounced Case, so inevetibly your son would be constantly correcting people that it's not "Keys"; but I think it's a cool name. By the way my favorite aunt is named Talitha (Tanta 'Liet).

Thank you so much! I have only ever met two other Talitha's and one spelled it differently. Thanks again for the pronunciation info!
