Alden is an old English name meaning old friend. I recently found the name Auden, which on a two websites is listed with the meaning old friend. Is Auden indeed a variant of Alden?
Secondly I would like to know the meanings of these 'related' names Audric and Audwin.

Any information will be appreciated. Thank you and Take Care.
