Hi! Does anybody know the meaning of the girl's name MORVERN? I think, it's Scottish or Irish.

"Morvern" is apparently a variation of "Morven", as both names have been used interchangeably for a pennisula on the western shore of northern Scotland.

...the place-name is derived from the Gaelic phrase: a Mhor bhairne, meaning: "at the big gap" (in reference to Fingal's Kingdom).
