Re: Odd Name
in reply to a message by Kim
In Latin we had to translate an extract from a piece called 'The Witches of Thessaly'. It was/is an area in (Ancient) Greece (don't know if it still exists) that was feared for it's witches who would take parts of dead bodies to use in their spells. Maybe it has something to do with that.

Hello-My name is Duvessa and i am from Thessaly. This terratory still exists in Greece. It includes the cities of Volos, Larissa, Tricala, Karditsa.Thessaly was also a witch from The coven of Thessalia. She was the lover of Morpheas, the greek god of sleep and dreams. Also the last remaining and most powerful witch of them. Some elders in that terratory are still claiming that they see her, mostly in the mountain Pelion. She appears also in the REM condition, alone or after the appearance of a "black" man,the shadow-man, as the people of Greek villages call him.All of them who are seeing him, are complaining for an enormus weight at their chess or back, and for loosing their voice for as long as he's there.
