My first name is Ji and I can't find ANYWHERE on the internet for the meaning of my name. Can anyone help? I'm male and English, but I don't know where the name came from. I think my mum said she saw it in the original Tarzan movie!!

I think "raindancing" is correct and that this is a form of Jai. Unfortunately, those who find names for their children in movies or television programs don't always wait around to see how the name is spelled in the credits before they give it to their child.

I am not totally sure but I always thought the name in the Tarzan movies was spelt Jai

well one lol from a tarzan movie and id like to point out i could have been made up nobody had heared of the name wendy until it appeared in peter pan, so like wendy it could just be a made up name....does that make sence
