My Mother was given the name "Glatha Marie" at birth; I have been trying to research the origin and meaning of the name; It was rumoured that it was Biblical; but a Bible names Dictionary held no evidence of that. Can anyone help me svanscoy@supernet or svanscoy2000@hotmail.com

My mother was an ethnic mix of Caucasian and Cherokee; she was born in the era of the early 1030's.
