Actually, I find this exchange amusing to watch altho it has no redeeming or constructive value whatsoever. Tam does have a rather nice taunting way with a phrase and is twisting Nan's tail just enough to get her hackles up.

Of course you're rude sometimes, Nan. Most of the time it's justified, but I can see how it could seem heavy-handed to those who have haven't been around here much. But how could we not love and respect the author of the "Elaine Quiz," still one of the funniest dang things ever to hit the 'Net?
