Kingston is a very common English place name which became a surname. It simply means "the king's manor or estate".

Well all i can say that it was made up, because we know what king is, so obviously theyve added -ston to make it better" dont tell me the skys the limit when theres footprints on the moon"

ston has a meaning though..its KINGSton, meaning "Kings town" literally. The ston isn't just a worthless endling.
