Origin and gender of "Senia"
Anyone know of the name Senia?Researching a family tree (through Maryland, Pennsylvania and Ohio USA)comes up with the name Senia, given in 1822 and also 1858, then no more usage.Unfortunately there's no indication as to whether it's male or female, and ethnic background is also unknown.
Anyone know of it?Thanks, appriciate the help.

A form of XeniaI know one named Xenia and she pronounced it Senia. She lived in Finland and I believe it was a Russian name (Finland was once a part of Russia). Though Xenia is originally Greek.
