I think they use 'II' for a daughter named after her mother. I mean, in the "Legends Of The Fall" movie (with Brad Pitt, Anthony Hopkins, Aidan Quinn) there was a woman named Isabelle, and she had her daughter named after her. The girl was called Isabelle II all the time in that movie.
