Re: No Idea what my name means
Although I can't say how reliable, the information that I found on Tasha, Tashina and Tashka, says the 3 mean "Birthday of the lord".
It doesn't have an origin to it that is why I doubt the liability of the source.I hope this helps a little anyway,
Magia.

My middle name is Tashina also. My mother said she got it from some movie she had seen and that it had Indian origin, but I have not been able to verify that either.I did once visit a website that said that the name Tashina means "Christmas child," or "glorious gift" in Russian.Isn't that a lovely meaning?!

ist's an name from the lakota language. "tashina" means "cover" or "flat", I think.

Tasha < Natasha < NatalyaNatasha is a Russian diminutive form of Natalya. Natalie is the more familiar form in the West. Tasha etc are just further diminutive forms.
