Can anybody help me with the pronounciation of Tóirneach, the name is Welsh and means thunder as far as I know.

Hi!

I'm not sure but I think the pronunciation is 'TEER-nahch' (the ch at the end pronounced like in "loch" or German "Bach".

I found a different meaning though. It's a form of the Irish name "Tiarnach" which comes from the Old Irish name "Tigernach" meaning "lord, superior, chief".

Tóirneach is not the same as Tiarnach...

Completely different things. Tiarnach would be pornounced tcharnach.

Tóirneach would be more like tornyach. It's the Irish word for thunder.
