Masculine first name, given in 1842. Family ancestry appears to be western European, surname is Small. His mother was a daughter from the marriage of a Lombard and a York. One person in another message board mentioned the possibility of this name being a variant of Cyprian. At this point I don't see any Greek or Cypriot ancestry in the family.
