... All of that would explain why the name is popular in Venezuela, as they are neighbour countries with Brazil and I wouldn't be surprised if the Tupí go all the way across form Brazil to some part of Venezuela, but that will be your job to find out :o).

Sorry for the misspellings on my previous post, I'm typing "wako" here, not really taking the time to read or spell check anything ('not that my spelling/typing skills, in any language, are brilliant... :o/ )
