I have seen the name of Atusa who was the first wife of Darius the Great and daughter of the king of Iran. The modern western spelling appears to be Atossa. See http://www.iranchamber.com/history/atossa/atossa.php for more details.

This site of Iranian girls names lists Atoosa as a variant of Atusa - http://cleo.lcs.psu.edu/girl_names.html

From what I know, historical and mythological names are quite common in Iran. My mother's friend Houshang(m) shares his name with the first mythological king of Iran and his siblings also have historical names.
