_Muslim and Parsi Names_ by Maneka Gandhi and Osair Husain gives "Daim" which a macron over the "a" as an Arabic name meaning "permanent, perpetual, eternal". Since Arabic does seem to form female names from male names by adding "a" at least some of the time (Jamil/Jamila and Majid/Majida being two examples), I think it is possible that Daim could lead to a feminine form "Daima", and Diiehma and Dyema look like they could be African-American respellings of Daima. But that is just a guess, someone who if fluent in Arabic would have to be consulted to make sure.
