I would appreciate it anybody can perhaps give me an indication of what this name might mean. ELEASHA. It was given to a female and my guess is that it might have its origan from Elisha (m).

I am currently studying the name. It is a Greek name from a Hebrew name. But most people believe it means "By the Sea". In fact it is a deritive of the Hebrew name Mareshah, a Bible City. It means either "possession" or some say "summit".

I couldn't find Eleasha, but I found Elisha, a female name with the same pronunciation:

Elisha : Ellie, Lisha : eh-LEE-shuh : Canaanite : El's salvation

Think "ALICIA". As in Alicia Keys. It is probably just an alternate spelling.
