What town does your sister live in?
"Zee" has often been used as a nickname by women whose first names begin with the letter Z. There is a math professor from Turkey at my university whose given name is Zergun, but everyone calls her "Zee". Perhaps your sister heard Zee and assumed it was spelled Zi?
