On first glance, it sounds like it could be a phonetically-spelled combination of Anna / Ana and Lita. I've known several girls whose parents spelled their names Onnika rather than Annika to make sure that people said AHN rather than ANN for the first syllable; this could be a similar case.

Asking her about her name would be another good direction in which to take your question. :)
