Maybe a variant of Masaki which means "beautiful blossom" in Japanese.

The meaning of Japanese words has nothing to do with their pronunciation, but with kanji that's used to write them.

The princess writes her name with kanji which mean "elegant child" or "gracious child," depending on how you translate it. There are many other potential meanings of Masako, however.
