In my experience, this is primarily a modern African-American creation. It is usually pronounced "juh-MEE-uh", but like any name which has probably been independently invented by different parents at different times, it wouldn't surprise me to run across instances of the name pronounced "juh-MY-uh" or "JAY-mee-uh".
