Hadn't heard this one before.

Cherrandi Abucay Surname

She's not sure where her parents came up with this. The fn is prn shur-RAHN-dee. Combo of Cheri and Randi? And the only name I've seen similar to Abucay is a Hispanic version of Habakkuk - Abacuc - on a guy.
