Subject: The name "Isband"

My GGGgrandfather was named Isband according to the census from 1830 to 1870. I have not been able to find any other person who has this name nor able to find his parents. Could this be a mis-spelling. His grave stone has Isaband. Anyone out there run across this name anywhere else? Can you offer alternates for this name. Thank You!
