Hispanic Names
I'm curious: Do you guys think that the growing Hispanic community is changing the country's naming style? I'm asking this because of Raphael. For a long time, I wouldn't use it because it was too heavily associated with the Turtles. However, it's fairly popular in the Hispanic community , less tied to the Turtles, and therefore, it's now usable. I've also seen many posts with names like Veronica, Marisol, and other Spanish names.I think it's great - many names that would have once seemed too exotic are usable again - especially with Mercedes and Marisol. Has anyone else noticied this trend?

You're right, Eliora. Spanish is going to be the second language in USA. That's the reason for the "new names" you are knowing. But, you must know that in Spanishspeakers countries many children in the last years have been named Brian, Jennifer, Kevin, Sharon... We could say this is a sort of... "names exchange". Regards.
