Question pertaining to Rosalyn and Lynn?
I have the family name of Lynn. I really like to use names to honor family. But I love the name Rosalyn which is not a family name. I understand that they are both different names. However, I was wondering if the Lyn in Rosalyn possibly derived from the name Lynn? Could the name Rosalyn still be used to honor a family name of Lynn?ETA: Would it make any difference if I spelled it Rosalynn? Just curious.Thank you!___________________________________________________________Proud wife to Jacob

I don't think it would make a difference... But maybe it might be more obvious that you were using a family name if you spelled it with 2 n's. Hope that helps! BTW, I love your Jesus quote down there.. It's so true! :-)
