We also called our daughter Nyah coz of mi2 LOL....
We searched for ages trying to find out wot the name meant and I have since spoken to a lady who in fact is swalhili and she has confirmed that it does indeed mean purpose!!! Considering I was born in Zambia this seems to fit why I love the name so much!!!
If anyone else has any other info on the name I'd love to hear
