Nicanor: I took canor and turned it into Connor which means dog lover or wolf lover. :) so maybe something to do with dogs. A Victorous dog person.

...the name is related to "nike" (victory) and "aner" (man).

So in this case, your furry friend is a biped, not a quadruped :)
