Pauline is from Paul and means "small" in latin I think.
Polly means "bitter" in english or latin. I think it's a variation of Molly, which comes from Mary and Mary means bitter.
Jemima means dove in hebrew.
Hope that helps a little!! But I can't see any Irish connection in any of the names, sorry!
