you say that untameable flower is to 'modern romance' when clearly you are pulling from Ancient Greek, and why should an Ancient Greek name be effected by your sense of cliche in this specific time period? While I don't understand the name clearly myself, Adamant also means indestructible, and Nymphs where unfathomably beautiful(to suggest that 'flower' might not be far off), again, not well-enough versed in Ancient Greek to aid entirely, I hope that little helped

I meant to question if it was sort of a modern mis-derivation, to give it a fanciful meaning, as opposed to what it originally may or may not have been intended. Sorry for any confusion.
