A friend of a friend on facebook has this name and I love the way it looks. I felt a little stupid asking him what it means and where it comes from, since I don't know him, so I didn't. Does anybody on here know anything about this name?

I think I've seen it before, but I can't remember where. Quick Googling reveals it's the name of a male Welsh saint: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seiriol.
Googling also says that your standard Crappy Baby Name site says it's a Welsh girl's name meaning "the bright one", but please pay no attention to that, since it's almost certainly incorrect.
