I like the name Jay Cooper (for first and niddle name). My mother likes and is pushing for J Cooper or J'Cooper. I do not know the "rules" as far as naming a child with a single letter or apostrophe. Please help.

Food for thought, I have had an unusual name (Xana)
and have had to explain my name or spell it repeatedly.
In some cases, I say my name is Donna instead.
Consider naming your child Jay Cooper, It will save him
so much hassle and confusion in the future.
