As Lassia said, my first thought of Cyparis was Cyprys too...it sounds familiar to me..but i can't relate to what..sorry!
I've looked on the Dutch firstname-site (http://www.meertens.knaw.nl/voornamen/VNB/index.php) but couldn't find anything!
Maar leuk om eens een Nederlander te zien op deze site buiten Lucille en mij....

I wish I could find someone to explain these names to me.
It's like someone put a spell or so on these names.
