Message: "First name NEVIO"

First name NEVIO

A mother tried to convince me that NEVIO was on the move in Germany. But I have never heard of this name, and not even Seibicke has it listed.
A quick search at Google produced a German singer called Nevio Passaro. He was born and raised in Germany, but has an Italian father.

Any ideas to the meaning?
