Hi Jessamy,
I named my daughter Jessamy as I had read it in a
Victoria Holt novel "the mask of the enchantress" and really liked it... we live in Australia and according to the Womens Weekly Baby book it is another form of
Jasmine (persian flower). I have bought an english book titled Jessamy by
Barbara Sleigh which is about a young girl who travels back in the past. There are a few websites where Jessamy is either a female first name or a surname in the USA.
Jessamine is also another form of
Jasmine according to my baby name book.
