"Something I'VE always wondered about: if Jesus was Jewish and he knew his impending fate (both points I'll accept), why did he have the JEWS bring about his betrayal so that the Christians would hate 'em and generally kick their kosher heinies for the next 2,000 years?"
@@@@ I posed that question to John, who happens to be a Christian (and was actually a student of theology for a brief period during his college years), and John says that all this had been predicted in the Book of Isaiah and had to come to pass in order for Jesus to be the Messiah. Of course, my own tribe is still waiting for the Messiah to arrive, so there is some debate in our household as to whether or not the predictions of Isaiah have been truly fulfilled. :)
