Re: Meaning of baby name
My two dollar names meanings book has Sabian as a Hebrew name, meaning "Heavenly Host". I've also seen it on the net as a Latin name, from Sabine, the name of a city in Italy, with feminine forms Sabina (Latin), Sabine (French), Savina, Sabyn, Sabinella (all English) and Saidhbhin (Irish). Hope this helps :-)
