I met a girl today named Villy. I had never heard it before and she told me it is a Thai name. Does anyone know the meaning of this name?

4th June 08- I fly to Wisconsin to start working at Camp Birch Trails...and I turn 19
18 August 08- Leave camp...and head to NYC!
2nd September 08- Fly from JFK to Athens and backpacking Europe until...
21st January 2009- Fly home to Sydney

This is very interesting as my own name is Villoy which is an island off the coast of Norway. considering that my people came from Norway, I assume that's where my name came from.
