Well, my Grandfather's last name was Gilbert; and that's English, Dutch and French. Would you usually hear Gilbert as an English surname? Thank you for taking time to respond :)

Yes Gilbert is a surname used in England and many other countries tooA childs smile is worth more to me than Gold
