I found Tanna as a male Hebrew name, rather common, meaning "doctor/scholar of the Michna". http://www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org/jsource/Judaism/talmud_&_mishna.html

For a girl, I thought of a pet form of Tania? Apart from the meaning listed here, it is also a Hebrew female name meaning "gift from G-d".
