Placement of "Ah" in Chinese names
If Ah was attached to a Chinese name in order to make it diminutive, would it go before or after the name itself? For example, to make Ling diminutive by attaching Ah, would it turn into Ah-Ling or Ling-Ah? Thanks in advance for any help.

seeing as there wasn't any responses to this... I'll try my bestGiven my "extremely" limited knowledge of Mandarin... I would say that it is probably Ah-Ling... my reasons:1. similar names - in order to say "Little Wong" -- the name is Xiao Wong 2. Have read some Chinese books for class that actually had a character made Ah-Ling in it...Hope this helps... but it is for something very important, I would seek someone with much more knowledge than me...
