NAME MEANING
CREAMUS IS MY SON'S NAME WHO IS AFRICAN AMERICAN. HE IS NAMED AFTER MY FATHER WHO HE SAID WAS NAMED AFTER A FRIEND OF HIS MOTHER.MY DAD DOES NOT REALLY KNOW THE MEANING. HOWEVER THE MAN HE IS NAMED AFTER IS WHITE-CHOCTAW NATIVE AMERICAN. PLEASE HELP ME MY SON IS 20YRS AND I HAVE BEEN SEARCHING FOREVER FOR THE MEANING OF HIS NAME. THANK YOU.

In Latin, creamus was pronounced kray-AH-moos and meant: we create, or: we make. It would never have been used as a name, though.I can't imagine that there can be two identical words with different meanings, so unless someone knows Choctaw and can provide evidence for Creamus as a Choctaw name (and I'm not holding my breath ...), "we create" it is.How do you pronounce it?
