I'm curious as to the name's history and how it's pronounced. I'm reading this book: http://www.rashisdaughters.com/joheved.html and it's difficult when I'm not at all familiar the name of the main character!

'Joheved' is a variant spelling, maybe a Medieval spelling, or a Yiddish spelling.
In Holland, Germany and Belgium the name Joheved is pronounced like: Yo-hey-ved.

Thank you! I loved “Rashi’s Daughters” and I have wondered about the pronounciation for a long time. Previous searches did not show pronounciation.
