All Japanese names have more than one potential meaning because they can be written with various kanji (Chinese characters). If you know the kanji, you can determine the meaning precisely; otherwise not. The actor Raizou Ichikawa's name is written "Rai" = thunder, "Zo" = possessions.
Also, this name is properly Raizou (with a long "o").
