Thank you so much. Great info. More than I knew before & believe it or not, our coat of Arms for our surname (Murdock) indicates fleur de lis & we couldn't quite figure that out. Didn't realize till coat of arms searched we even had anything but Celtic blood running thru our veins & voila ... the fleur de lis' popped up. So, your French connection makes sense & indicates a different pronunciation for me as well. Merci
