I'll make a new try:
Fuse is a short form of Old Norse names ending with -fÃºs. The meaning of fÃºs is "willing, unhesitating".
Examples for full names are SigfÃºs (victory + willing, unhesitating) and VigfÃºs (battle + willing, unhesitating). The Icelandic equivalent is FÃºsi.
