There's a kind of chair called a prie-dieu which is actually for kneeling on (the upholstered "seat" bit) and resting your prayer book on (the below eye-level shelf bit). They were used when people had morning prayers in their homes!

The point is that it means "pray" + "God". And it looks so close to your own name that I wonder if whoever named you had the same kind of idea - dea instead of dieu would make it feminine, of course.
