One of the UK's greatest engineers and neither of his forenames are listed in any names directory I've ever seen. I've even met someone who has the guy's surname as their first name and that's not listed either.
When I was looking for a "baby names" book some years ago his names were the acid test (which they all failed).
Who am I thinking of?
