rare hebrew names? by elf |
None of the three names is listed in Smadar Shir Sidi's "Complete Book of Hebrew Names."
None of them appears in the Bible - at least not in the form given here.
CHELAM: Name of a city mentioned in 2 Samuel 10:16
CHELEM: Misspelling of CHELDAI
There are two verbal stems in Hebrew CHET-LAMED-MEM; one means "dream," the other "strong, healthy."
ABROKIM: Looks like in interesting variant of ABRAHAM to me
PATIMA: Reminds me, too, of FATIMA. (There is an F in Hebrew, though; it's the same character as P, just without the little dot inside. The same with V and B)
