Does this name actually exist anywhere other than in the imagination of this one person "discussing" it with me? He claims it's a legitimate name from either Ireland, Greece or one of the African nations.

Ireland, Greece or Africa? He is covering his ass, isn't he? How does he pronounce it? Looks like a mangling of Siobhan. It's not an Irish name anyway.
